Wales Monthly Omnibus

Question mark jigsaw The Opinion Research Services (ORS) all-Wales monthly omnibus is the only effective framework for measuring the change in Welsh public opinion on a frequent and regular basis. The omnibus survey is ideal for PR agencies and businesses that require fast and accurate data, as well as providing a cost effective approach ideal for public sector and voluntary organisations.

It is possible to ask any number of questions, with prices based on a per question basis – and because the omnibus survey is shared with other users, the rates are typically far lower than commissioning an independent survey.

Each month, up to 1000 interviews are undertaken by telephone with a representative cross-section of adults living in Wales with all respondents able to participate in either Welsh or English. Where fewer interviews are required, questions can be asked of a representative sample of 400 adults; which is particularly suitable for regular questions tracking opinion on a month-to-month basis.

Omnibus questions can normally be placed until noon on the second Friday of each month, with full results typically provided by email a week later; on Monday (for standard questions) or Wednesday (where questions require coding).

Standard data tables include analysis by Age, Gender, Working Status and Region; and further profiling questions are available if requested in advance of the survey.

We also offer a one-page summary of the omnibus research findings or a summary PowerPoint presentation that will clearly illustrate the headline results. Where a more detailed analysis is required, we can provide a clear written report including charts, maps and tables as appropriate; which can also include tracking information for repeat questions or omnibus questions asked on a regular basis.
